Global Partnerships, ITV Studios is known for its expertise in distributing shows that attract global audiences with significant commercial potential. It is home to licences for some of the world’s most powerful TV formats, including the global sensation Love Island, The Voice, Hell’s Kitchen, Come Dine With Me, The Four, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Four Weddings, I Love My Country and The Chase.
We work with our clients to sell the content through various means, including brand licensing, merchandising, commercial integration and digital and social activities.
For our Finance department, we are looking for an Assistant Financial Controller for 32-40 hours per week.
WHAT YOU DO
As our Assistant Financial Controller, you will be jointly responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of ITV Studios Global Partnerships’ financial records. You analyze and check the various balance sheet and P&L accounts. You will support monthly and year-end closings, forecasting and budgeting. As part of your role as Assistant Financial Controller, you will also independently perform a number of administrative tasks and report to the Finance Manager.
In outline, you will be responsible for:
- Processing transactions in sales & remittances journal
- Processing bank book on a daily basis
- Invoice processing & determining accruals for month-end closing
- Processing chargebacks and clearing intercompany balances
- Prepare remittance statements for internal & external stakeholders and
- Further optimization of the financial work processes
The salary for this role is 3.350,- / 4.200,- on a full-time basis, depending on education and experience.
WHO YOU ARE
You are analytically and numerically strong and good at setting priorities. You have a proactive and flexible working attitude. You function well in a team as well as independently.
- Completed HBO education in a financial direction
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language and living in the Netherlands
- Excellent knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel
